As a history buff I was excited to work with Wayne Vansant on a series of graphic novels about various moments is military history. The Battle of the Bulge is the follow up to the first graphic novel we did, Normandy, and with experience we were able to expand beyond the standard comic book grid. 

   I believe the page design, carried by Vansant's illustrations, presents these very important moments in history in a way that is enticing and understandable to young readers and people just starting to learn about these historical events.
